Would setting up a VM or running certain programs with Sandbox work? Here is what I want: Both programs running at the same time. Change default to output 2... Certain programs allow me to change the output device in the settings which works just fine, but this is not the case for a select few programs. Among these options should be a list of all available audio devices. Another Solution I found is a not yet released xpi. (firefox addon) found by wondering on forums.
by closing that window on x all is saved for future use...
