Certain Letters Stop Working Momentarily On Desktop Keyboard

We tried to repro with the following steps: 1. just another stupid Geeky computer nerd function they thought of that has absolutely no impact to the user in a windows session anyway.. It is extremelyfrustrating to work with a keyboard that has a mind of its own. Any other non-standard hardware or software?

Since each row and each column share a wire, if there is a break in it somewhere, it can affect multiple keys at once. Microsoft will tell you its hardware because they don't want to spend the time to fix it. Keystrokes are behaving as thought Ctrl is being held down. Please Help Me People!!! I tried to uninstall and reinstall the keyboard driver, uninstall all of the Windows 7 automatic updates, but nothing helped. The problem started after I used CleanMyMac.
