Can't See Pictures.only Red X's
The "Show Pictures" was checked and the "Show Image Download placeholders" was Unchecked. I tried to go to a couple of news stories that had video but the video area is just a solid black screen. Make sure you're internet explorer settings are "allowing" those pictures to be shown, like this: Open the Control Panel, then the Internet Options icon, then the "Advanced" tab. before i realized it was happening on both my honme and work computers, i re-installed internet explorer, i cleared the caches, i made sure compatibility view was disabled, i made sure Right click on the Temporary Internet Files folder and choose Delete. I had the blank square issue in my outlook 2007. I also am using Internet Explorer 8. It is quicker that way. check that you have the latest supported version of Java installed.
