I hope someone can chime in and continue to point you in the right direction. I have backup / sync routines that want the USB sticks to be G: or H:. The laptop works well otherwise. navigate here I have tried a USB stick which worked but not drives do not.

When I insert a dvd into my computer, its not showing up under my computer either, also when I check my device manager, its not there.....CD/DVD drives aren't listed. Choose the driver of the HDD you have problems with (Choose the correct one, usually with the red cross indicating it is disabled and cannot enable/having problems enabling it via GUI Take the disc out and bye bye.
