Finally i manage to save my PC Changing BIOS mode from IDE to AHCI and reinstalling operating system. Are you looking for the solution to your computer problem?

Because if it is legal from store copy, check the disk for scratches and such. My computer would crash, stutters and freeze for no reason. I also have a PC that freezes (once every day or two it locks up and I have to reboot it). If you remove from Device Manager and reboot, Windows will install a new one. When I place a music cd in the same drive it freezes and so does other thinks like software applications, etc.This is really nutty.Please help..Kevin Flag Permalink This was helpful (0) and resetting bios to default, gave just one boot, and then disconnecting keyboard solved it.
I ran multiple tests everything came out with no errors. Only bettered by the superb Batman: Son of the Demon. While I'm downloading and installing various drivers, Win 7 will randomly freeze and I have to hit the power button for a hard reset. just study more on google, people do this for years. My only issue is that my music or software cd's won't run which is really weird.Thanks for all this help everyone. Had no idea that could affect a cd boot attempt too like it did. TL;DR If your computer is freezing after installing an SSD change from AHCI to IDE mode in the BIOS. When you reboot, it should be found and hopefully work. RIght click My Computer, select Properties, click the Hardware tab, click the Device Manager button, then the + sign by DVD/CD ROM drives, highlight and right click the drive then select
I have updated my NERO program but that didn't help. Since you have Nero, you should run Nero InfoTool which will provide lots of information and might even spit out an error. It's more likely that your drive and the type of media don't work together, which is a fairly common problem.

pata. by R. Both OS worked without issue in IDE mode but I enabled AHCI through the BIOS to speed up the drive. From doing some googling it appears as if I have the lastest firmware.
