Can't Send Attachments With Outlook Express

I sent them to myself and my wife and they never show up in any form. A little check on the Internet, along with the error code given should leads you to many solutions. There was no perfect fix for the problem, except to completely uninstall McAfee VirusScan from your computer. With attachment I get a SMTP server timeout error.
